artist portfolio for Shareeka Helaluddin

one of my favourite things about working with artists is they usually have a very strong vision for their site, and the collaborative process of bringing that to life is super fun. Shareeka is a dear friend of mine and a very talented sound artist, so I jumped at the opportunity to work with her. her site is based around the concept of a piece of paper, folding and unfolding.

Nosebleed

Nosebleed is a tv-guide style website for independent film screenings in sydney. The editor Amelia Broughton first approached me with the idea back in April and I worked with her closely to develop the concept, design, and site. Solo developed by me, it was also my first time using Kirby CMS to build a back end too. this was an absolute joy to work on, definitely one of my favourite projects so far.

Business site for Mikhaela Rodwell

Mikhaela Rodwell is many things to many people. she has a wide skillset, ripe for application to a very specific market. as such, her website was authentic, professional and dedicated. tasteful, but not indulgent. all the images in the "gallery" are drawn straight from her camera roll: an earnest invitation into her expertise and the incisive way she navigates both culture and business.

custom squarespace design and build for the team at Groundswell. it was a 7 day turn around for a slick single page mega scroll promoting their event Cultureshapers. peep the background of the alumni section, which I made using a digital video synthesiser.
